I am a professional coach and licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience working with individuals and groups. Throughout my career I have facilitated a range of short and long-term groups for both women and men.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California, a Master's Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica with an emphasis in Consciousness, Health & Healing, and a certificate in Trauma Studies from the Los Angeles Institute & Society for Psychoanalytic Studies.

I was born and raised in New York and before embarking on my current path, I spent time working in the fashion and entertainment worlds. I have two daughters, ages 23 and 21, a dog, and live in Santa Monica, CA. When I'm not working, I enjoy travel, hiking, meditation, and cooking. I also volunteer with local organizations that support community through gardening and providing meals for people who are food insecure across the LA area.

MY journey to THIS WORK

In 2011, I hit a roadblock. I felt stuck, frustrated and at times lost. It was then that I was introduced to coaching - and it changed everything. I began making significant changes in how I related to myself, my family and my work.

My journey led me to the University of Santa Monica where I completed a Master's Degree in Spiritual Psychology. The principles and practices of Spiritual Psychology gave me a profound context for life - that all of life is for learning. I became clear that coaching was the container I wanted to work in, and I decided to bring together my many years of experience, including my background as an LCSW, into a framework where people can do deep work while simultaneously moving their lives forward in meaningful ways.

My journey has been shaped by extraordinary teachers and mentors. I completed Robert Holden's Success Intelligence program and had the privilege of working with him directly. I attended the CFJ Coaching Success School twice, and Carolyn was my coach for many years. Most recently I completed a Trauma Informed Coaching course with Thomas Hübl, whose work on presence and healing continues to deeply inform my practice.
